There is nothing sweeter than a child smiling while she is learning.  
The options for technology integration are almost limitless at this point.  For this to be successful, students must first be comfortable with its use.  Routine use, feedback, and supervision will achieve a comfort zone for active engagement and meaningful learning.  
Can you say DIFFERENTIATION? Whether students are playing Battleship to review for a Language test on Quia, practicing Math on IXL, or remediating lacking skills on one of hundreds of apps, students will want to succeed with the use of technology.  Individualized reinforcement of skills almost takes care of itself with today's overabundance of technology options.
