This activity is editable so that you can type in your own words, making it perfect for your phonics continuous provision!  Type each grapheme in the word onto a separate nail (where the asterix is shown).  Children should say the sounds as they tap the nails with a toy hammer and then blend to read the word.  The letters are in a pre-cursive font with no lead ins.
 
To edit, download the PDF to your computer and then open the PDF in the latest version of Adobe Reader (free).  You can type words with between 2-4 graphemes.  10 pages each are included for words with 2, 3 or 4 graphemes.
