Develop subtraction fact fluency within 10 with this FUN maths activity!  Your class will solve each subtraction using the tens frame and then record their answer in the box. They can use a dry-erase pen, playdough, counters or other manipulatives to take away or cross out, to work out their answer. LOW-PREP: simply print and laminate!
 
The following are included:
•30 subtraction mats: use the tens frame to solve the subtraction by using a dry-erase pen, counters, cubes, pom poms, playdough or other manipulatives. Your students should draw dots/set out manipulatives to represent the first number in the subtraction and then take away or cross out the second amount. After they have found the answer, they can record it in the answer box.
